I am an experienced programme manager and can work with you to deliver your project if you are struggling with capacity, need support to get a good idea off the ground, or are looking for someone to implement change in your organisation. Here are some examples of my work managing projects in the heritage sector.
Port Sunlight Village Trust
I worked with Port Sunlight Village Trust over eighteen months to deliver their ACE-funded museum resilience programme. At the heart of the project was the refurbishment of a cottage to become a community hub, and a long process of consultation with residents and stakeholders to inform the development of a new strategic plan for the Trust. Alongside this, I worked with PSVT to develop an academic partnership with the University of Liverpool and establish a national network of similar heritage villages, programmed a conference and managed the development of a new website.
Museums of Cheshire
Museums of Cheshire is a diverse group of venues across the historic Cheshire region. The group was awarded an ACE grant to fund their resilience building Unlocking the Potentialprogramme, and I was employed as project manager. The work included commissioning an economic and social impact report and a narrative study, creating a training and development strategy, and managing a website revamp and regional conference.
Happy Older People Network
I was brought on board to establish and then manage the Happy Older People network: developing relationships with strategic partners; setting up and administering a small grants programme; and leading on communications and events management. It is now an established network of arts organisations, older people’s service providers and community organisations across Merseyside, all using culture to tackle loneliness and isolation amongst older people.
“Working with Kate enabled us to grow the network, access funding, and build partnerships across the city which are going from strength to strength. I would highly recommend her as a project co-ordinator.”
